We are delighted to have Readings’ own Mark Rubbo chatting with Andrew Leigh, Australian politician, author, lawyer and former professor of economics at the Australian National University.

He has been a Labor member of the Australian House of Representatives since 2010. Tonight Rubbo will be asking Leigh about his latest book, What’s the Worst That Could Happen? Here Leigh looks at catastrophic risks and how to mitigate them, arguing provocatively that the rise of populist politics makes catastrophe more likely.
