Robert Tickner in conversation with Kate Cole-Adams
Readings State Library, Woiwurrung Country, State Library Victoria, 285-321 Russell St, Melbourne 3000, Victoria
Join us to hear Robert Tickner talk about his deeply personal memoir Ten Doors Down.
This startling memoir is a testament to how we are shaped by all forms of family – and to the potential for love to heal great harm. Tickner was Australia’s longest-serving Federal Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs under the Hawke and Keating governments. He then became CEO of the Australian Red Cross and led the organisation for a decade from 2005.
Tickner will be joined in conversation by Kate Cole-Adams.
