Kim Billington, the author of A Counsellor’s Companion has worked with children and families for over 30 years. Kim’s book contains practical and playful, evidence-based approaches to supporting 4-18yr olds. This book is a masterclass in child counselling and fills the gaps from thin-on-the-ground units in counselling courses at universities and in teacher training. Local award winning artist, Tamar Dolev created over 50 stunning illustrations of examples of the creative expressive arts techniques used in child counselling.

The evening will be hosted by Dr Carla van Laar, an experienced therapist with young people, and an art therapist, trainer and supervisor of art therapists as well as an arts curriculum developer.
