Julie Bindel is a freelance journalist and political activist from the UK, a founder of Justice for Women, and the author of the new book The Pimping of Prostitution. Bindel will be in conversation with Mary Crooks, the executive director of the Victorian Women’s Trust, about one of the most contested issues facing feminists, human rights activists and governments around the globe – the international sex trade.
