Join Melbourne author and playwright Gabriel Bergmoser as he talks about his new YA novel, The True Colour of a Little White Lie, A complete genre change from his recent bestselling thriller, The Hunted.
Not quite autobiographical but not entirely fiction either, The True Colour of a Little White Lie is a story that reminds you just how tough adolescence can be. Already optioned by Melbourne-based production company Pirate Size Productions, the book follows 14-year-old Nelson whose need to escape the daily humiliations of his small-town high school and reinvent himself, leads him to a string of lies that spiral out of control and an unexpected love triangle. He soon discovers that the hardest thing to run away from is yourself, no matter where you are.
