Saturday 8 October marks the annual Love Your Bookshop Day, and this year we’re inviting our smallest readers to celebrate with face painting!

At various Readings locations, we’ll be hosting face painting for kids that draws inspiration from artist Tai Snaith’s beautiful new book, Wonders Under the Sun.

This event is entirely free and there’s no need to book. See below for what time the festivities kick-off at your local shop:

• Reading Doncaster: 10-11am
• Readings Emporium: 11-12pm
• Readings Malvern: 12-1pm
• Readings Kids: 1-2pm
• Readings St Kilda: 2-3pm

Please ensure timely arrive to make sure your child does not miss out on the day.

If you want even more fun, we’re also hosting a very special drawing workshop for children at our Readings Kids shop. The session will be run by the amazing Tai Snaith and have a run-time of one hour, beginning at 10.30am. Book here.
