Now in her fourth decade as a recording artist, Rickie Lee Jones has always followed her muse and refused to be pigeon-holed into a particular music genre. She has delivered one of the finest albums of her career with Balm In Gilead, released in 2009.

‘Old Enough’, her duet with Ben Harper, is probably her most radio-friendly song in years. The album also features Vic Chesnutt and Victoria Williams. The songs are instantly likeable and accessible; a big recommendation from me.
