A Block of Time

A Block of Time A time to learn A time to grow

Every human being will live a block of time. Some live only a short block, others very long. For me, my block of time is now coming to an end. This book is about those people and experiences that helped shape the person I am today. I've never been famous, wealthy or highly educated but I feel even my life can produce some attributes that surpass those.

We all will have to navigate through our own block of time on this earth. Everyone has a story, we all will experience heartache, misfortune, embarrassment, joy and laughter. These experiences, our story, mold and shape us as we grow older. I've always felt there may be more to these experiences and personal encounters.

I believe those folks who look deeper into their existence, ponder spirituality or struggle with injustice may find value in this book. I do feel there are a few people, like me, who continue to search for understanding and clarity in our not so nice world.

In my lifetime I've only had a few short periods where I've truly experienced peace and contentment. Most of my life has been filled with heartache and pain. But now as I've gotten closer to my last days, I'm thankful for these experiences. I believe because of them; I've grown to become a more loving, compassionate person.

Whether you read this book or not I encourage you to take a little time to document those experiences or people who stirred your heart so to say. At some point it will be important not only to family and loved ones but also for historical sake.
