Sera's mother was special. She had the unique ability of knowing things she shouldn't quite know. But it wasn't enough to stop her own murder. All Sera wanted was to be normal. But she has her own ability, a dark version of her mother's. She can see through the eyes of a vicious predator, one that is connected to Sera in ways she never thought possible.

Sera pushes it down deep, carefully constructing a simple and safe life. Which works...for a while.
