Why do we end up with suffering although all we crave is bliss and freedom? Why do we find ourselves everywhere in chains although we strive for freedom? This is because we do not have sufficient knowledge about the source of bliss and freedom. Spiritual masters from time to time descend on Earth to impart true knowledge to mankind irrespective of creed, colour or religion, by which suffering is eliminated and bliss attained. Not knowing the self is ignorance. Ignorance, according to Socrates, is a great sin. Sin begets suffering. Therefore Sadguru Sri Sri Arjun concludes by saying, "Ignorance is the cause of suffering."
This book is a compendium of some spiritual discourses of Sadguru Sri Sri Arjun who propounded 'Divya Darshan - The Philosophy Divine'. This philosophy focuses on knowledge and divine virtues which can bring peace and bliss to the world. Divine thoughts, divine expressions and divine actions should be everybody's way of life to attain the divine destination. He says, "Knowledge paves the way to Dharma and Dharma to freedom (moksa)." He explains further, "Knowing the Law of Eternity is knowledge, and observance of the same is Dharma. Without self-knowledge, it is impossible to attain bliss and freedom - the ultimate goal of everyone."
Sadguru gives a clarion call to mankind as follows: "If you want to live, be dutiful. If you want peace and happiness, blossom divine virtues from within. If you want liberation, acquire self-knowledge."
