The military taught him to kill. The deserts and mountains along with the Taliban of Afghanistan along with the jungles, mountains and drug cartels of Columbia taught him how to kill and survive in a hostile environment. After spending 15 years all either black ops or deep undercover he's now retired and, in the witness, protection program. Meeting, falling in love and marrying Kay all while trying to escape his past and live in peace. Although his past keeps catching up to him. While on vacation a member of a Columbian cocaine cartel recognizes him. Kay's granddaughter is kidnapped and Kay volunteers to trade places. Joe's past training comes rushing back and the trained killer he once was is now front and foremost. Can he find and get his granddaughter to safety. Then find Kay in the jungles of Columbia. Hopefully saving them both from a terrible fate. Then can he become the soft spoken loving man that Kay had fallen in love with once again. About the Author: Lance started writing about 15 years ago. After having four books of poetry published.
