As a time traveler, Elizabeth Bennet has traveled back and forth through time, constantly meeting and remeeting the love of her life.
As she meets Fitzwilliam Darcy in a pub in the 21st century, she recalls seeing him for the first time in the 1770s. Right before the start of the Revolutionary War amid boycotts and upheavals between British colonists in America and British officers sent to repress a rebellion, they have a brief, but memorable encounter.
Darcy, a loyal captain in his Majesty's service, is sent to assist other officers in the turmoil. Elizabeth is a staunch American patriot.
At their second encounter, as they attempt to deal with each other's differences, it is undeniable that there is a gulf that might be too insurmountable to overcome.
