"My Ex(s) Are Not Going To Like This One" is my first ever poetry book inspired by my first dabbles into love and relationships at a young age and how said dabbles, have and haven't shaped my perception of self and outlook on romance as I transition into my womanhood. No one likes to talk about how much another being can impact us fully and sub consequently morph us into the people we are today. I surely didn't. Whether it's the way you have your coffee black in the morning because your ex at 19 told you it helps boost your immune system, or the way you cringe at men in tracksuits wherever you now go. There will always be crumbs left behind. It's about what you do with said crumbs, you can feed them to the rats or make a lusciously bitter lemon cheesecake out of it. Either way, give them a purpose. This is me giving my shitty situations a new purpose. All in all, I think I got a bit sick and tired of hearing "there's always two sides to a story", when no one cared to hear about mine. Well, here it is. This is my side of the fucking story. Grab the popcorn, babes.
