Sitting Bull was born in 1831 in a time when the white man had descended on the Sioux tribal lands and claimed it for themselves. A turbulent time that continued throughout his life. A life of devotion to his family, caring for his tribe, courageous and brave in the face of danger and a gifted communicator with the animals and the Great Spirit. His tribe held him in high esteem and spoke of his ‘big medicine’ which was a huge compliment to the man. And that’s only a small part of the man himself. Learn about the legend that was and is Chief Sitting Bull and perhaps you too will admire the man he became.
