Shandunka, the Paiute warrior is a man torn between two worlds. A white man by birth, he was kidnapped by Paiute Indians at a young age, and raised as their own. Because of his white lineage, he had to always prove himself in his tribe, and never quite truly fit in. Raised as a Paiute, Shandunka never truly understood the ways of the white settlers and often found himself at odds with their ways and laws. He has become a man apart, a man of both worlds, but welcome in neither.
