In the ravaged world of Astaria, the realm's creatures are at war with each other as they struggle to survive the fury inflicted on them by their planet's Goddess Ceres. A human by the name of Stark disappears underground in the midst of the worst of the ensuing natural disasters and pursues his dreams of summoning an ancient being to harness the powers of Ceres herself.

Stark messes with a Magic he should have never meddled in and unleashes a horde of Demons upon the already wounded land. In the midst of the chaos, a young Beast by the name of Donut is trying to find her way in the ruined world as she comes to terms with the loss of a loved one and the true nature of the only family she has ever known. Donut and her best friend strike out on their own and find themselves drawn to a higher calling when they meet a mysterious Guardian by the name of Da'antalion.

As Da'an struggles to recall his past and Donut wrestles with falling for a Demon, they must decide whether they are cut out to be the heroes Astaria needs as they journey to find the truth of Da'an's origins. Will Donut be able to face her biggest fears, or will she turn and hide when her realm needs her the most?
