Initially, in a little schoolhouse on the edge of a forest, a young girl named Della sat in her class daydreaming. Her teacher had assigned the class the task of creating animals out of leaves and twigs they found outside. Della's imagination ran wild as she carefully crafted a lion named Luke, taking great care to add every detail from his sharp teeth to his majestic mane.
