Harry had heard of young women back in the city who would have large weddings with all their friends and family, who would come to see them in their dresses and wish them well, and for a moment he wondered if Katie was expecting something like that. He hoped not, because they wouldn't even have the decent sized gathering of friends most people out west managed to find for their unions. No matter, if she did have a problem with the two mandatory witnesses provided by the justice of the peace, she could try her luck at dragging a few people from the town to join them. Harry almost laughed at the thought. That would be an amusing sight to see. He kept his mirth to himself and his eyes on the road.
