Ancient darkness haunts the forlorn mountain village of Sableford, claiming lost travelers and stealing villagers from their very homes. When a haunted stranger named Ingram Brown arrives seeking shelter from the winter, the superstitious townspeople question whether he brings salvation or doom. Ingram bears the scars of past battles waging war against the forces of evil.
