The Unfinished Temple
C L West
On the third of August, 1831, Joseph Smith Jr. consecrated a field in Missouri for the first temple of the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. The field is still empty; that temple was never built. The absence of that temple speaks to an absence that looms within the church itself.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are Christians. They tend to be honest people and good neighbors. But within the doctrinal boundaries of the church, certain questions of theology are unanswered (left on the shelf as it were)-particularly the doctrine of Heavenly Mother. This lack of answers makes it more difficult for devoted members to defend their faith, both to outsiders and to fellow members who decide to leave.
The Unfinished Temple outlines how a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints discovered Heavenly Mother and the Lost Ark of the New Covenant, so that you can, too. It extends a thorough invitation to learn about Catholicism, to find in it the fulness promised by the Restoration-a surprising opportunity to finish the temple that Joseph Smith started.
This book is for faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to deepen their faith, to help them be articulate and steady defenders of Christ, and to discover Heavenly Mother in a way they have yet to even imagine.
It's also a book for Catholics to share with their Mormon friends, to find common ground between them, and to give them the bountiful gifts available in the Catholic faith.
