Florence and the Convent
Sarah Baker
In the early 1900s, many of the girls that came to the Convent to learn were from different backgrounds and situations.
In Florence and the Convent, Florence is a nervous nine-year-old girl whose father wants the best for her and her future. Florence's father takes her to the Convent, so she can become a properly educated lady after losing her mother. Nerves and uncertainty make Florence question this life-altering change.
Will she fit in and make friends?
What will she learn?
Follow along with Florence as she makes friends, learns to take chances, and trusts in her future!
