Skimoraya is a collection of works by the late G.S.K. Mohan Rao, comprising short stories, poems and a play.

The Red Herring Trap tells the tale of Tapasya, a young girl who receives the shocking news that her father has suddenly gone missing, and goes on to set up a small team of experts to pursue a private investigation, traveling to several destinations to ultimately bring it to an exciting end.

Portals of Hope is set in colonial India during the time of the second world war. The story begins with a group of four Jewish gentlemen exploring setting up businesses in India.

Their sudden disappearance on the eve of unveiling their first industrial complex gives rise to a mystery that remains unsolved. An Englishman, formerly a civil servant, continues to pursue the investigation despite his own physical disability and the lapse of time. Along with a team comprising his nephew, two Indian marine professionals and others, he goes on to help solve the mystery.

The World of Vimal is a tale about Vimal, a young boy of 12 years, who along with his sister, discovers an ancient magical writing stylus in his pursuit to find his missing history book.

Counter Blow is a translation of a playful skit originally written by the author in Telegu in the 70s. The original, titled 'Eduru Debba', was staged a few times in Chennai in 1972.
