The Bulletin of Industrial Statistics for the Arab Countries 2008-2014 provides detailed industrial data on Arab countries for users of this type of statistics, such as policymakers, analysts and researchers. The publication includes time series and indicators for the period 2008-2014. Data are drawn primarily from national sources, complemented by secondary sources when needed. The Bulletin is divided into two parts. Part I includes summary tables on overall industrial trends, including levels of output expressed as the value added per capita at constant prices; labor productivity expressed as the share of value added per employee at constant prices; the size of the contribution made by industry to gross domestic product at producers’ prices; and the average wage of employees in Arab countries. Part II contains tables of industrial statistics for each Arab country. It presents available data on the number of establishments; the number of employees; their wages and salaries; output; value added; and index numbers of industrial production.
