International Atomic Energy Agency
This publication presents the results of an IAEA coordinated research project (CRP) and provides a description on the development, construction and evaluation of integrated multifunctional instruments based on nuclear spectrometries as well as new software for handling and operation of the instruments including data acquisition, processing and presentation of data. The integrated instruments and analytical methodologies can be used in small laboratories as well as in state-of-the-art synchrotron radiation facilities in order to enhance analytical capabilities and competitiveness. The publication responds to the needs and interests in Member States to apply nuclear spectrometry in a cost effective way and to provide high quality analytical services in support of nuclear sciences and applications in various fields, such as environmental pollution monitoring, biology, human health, agriculture and industry.
