Lars Haukeland er fodt i 1964 og fodt pa nytt i 1979. Han ble ferdig utdannet vernepleier i Bergen i 1993.
Fra 1997 til 2001 gikk han pa Independent Baptist Bible College i Nuneaton, England. I to ar var han assisterende pastor i Bible Baptist Church i Nuneaton for han ble ordinert i 2003. Den 23. september 2003 sa Kingsmead Independent Baptist Church lysets dag hvor Haukeland var pastor i 1 ½ ar.
Tilbake i Norge har han jobbet med sondagsskole, men na har han gitt sin fulle oppmerksomhet til det skrevne ord.
Han jobber for tiden pa Sandviken Sykehus.
I sin forste publiserte bok skriver Lars Haukeland om tre av de emnene som opptar ham mest: skapelsen, kjaerligheten og profetiene. Kallenavnet Dinosaurmannen fikk han etter et program pa naerradioen om dinosaurer i Bibelen.
