This work presents a corpus of 98 Arabic documents, mostly on papyrus, featuring protocol texts, legal texts, administrative texts and private business letters. It aims to serve as a research tool for all disciplines concerned with the study of private, social and administrative life of early Islam, through the medium of original authentic documents. The documents are accompanied by a French translation and notes intended to facilitate their use by non-Arabists.
