The text is dedicated to Aby Moritz Warburg (Hamburg, 1866-1929), an important German art historian and art critic. Despite a considerable number of publications and study meetings, knowledge of his work is still marginal, also due to the difficulty of making the large unpublished and fragmentary part of his works accessible to the public of international scholars.
