A pharmaceutical company hires Gerhard Self, a 68-year-old private detective, to investigate a hacker who is threatening the security of the computer system of his brother in laws company. While Self is in the search for the hacker, he will have to confront his own secret past as a Nazi officer and also clear up two murders in which he had been involved long ago.
