Lazy Davor runs away to sea on a dragonship to escape his chores. Then runs away again - into greater danger. A mysterious Traveller, Master Odo, befriends him then abandons him with only a wolf cub for company. As Davor tries to find his way home he becomes caught up in the story of a broken sword, cursed treasure, and an evil shape-shifting dragon.
