Study of water consumption in distillers and feasibility of reuse
Thaina Soares
Water reuse is becoming more important as demand for water increases. Distillers waste a large volume of cooling water, which is of significant quality and can be reused for non-potable activities. The aim of this work is to verify the waste of water treated using distillers at the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) and to propose a water reuse model as an alternative to tackle the problem of disposal and waste, with the possibility of reusing this water for watering gardens in the laboratory block itself.
