This book have mentioned about the purpose of the investigation which was to characterize the phenotypic and molecular variability of teak genotypes. This is the study of my master's research work during the year 2016-2018 at Anand Agricultural University. A book comprised of investigation on 32 teak genotypes selected from different locations in middle Gujarat, India. Out of 32 genotypes, 18 genotypes were seed orchard genotypes and 14 genotypes were natural growing genotypes. The research was conducted at "The Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during 2017-2018". The study contains the outcome of the selected marker systems viz., SSR and SRAP that could be efficiently utilized to characterize the teak genotypes. The outcomes of the present study would able to provide valid guidelines for the collection and characterization of teak genetic resources for future tree improvement program for quality wood availability.
