The Angolan economy is currently overly dependent on oil revenues. For this reason, Angola recently began a process of tax reform, the main objectives of which are to increase non-oil tax revenues, broaden the tax base, rationalise tax incentives, increase control through voluntary tax payments and combat tax fraud. This gave rise to the motivation to develop the theme of this work and the interest in learning about and publicising the Angolan tax system.
