During the colonial period, the brutal methods of recruiting workers and collecting taxes awakened the dormant warrior in Akafou Apia, known as "Blale". He is one of those men who, rather than live in anonymity, decided to take their history into their own hands and change it. Though short-lived, his struggle could inspire all young Africans thirsting for justice and freedom.
