Since her birth in the 1940s, the myth of "Evita" has exerted a strong influence on the popular, political and social imagination in Argentina. A controversial figure, she has aroused repulsion and equally visceral support. In this vein, the intellectual, literary and film fields have not been indifferent to everything that this myth represents.
