This study, carried out in 2014 as part of a Master's degree in Anthropology, has lost none of its relevance. On the contrary, it shows with sufficient objectivity, or at the very least ethnographic benevolence, the overall logic of the secular Western imaginary that could only lead to this paradigmatic shift with anthropological consequences that could not be more disruptive: Transhumanism.
