This work presents a design and study of Sheppard -taylor (S-T) topology based Luo-Converters (LC) for requiring the constant power supply in battery operated vehicle portable devices, telecommunication equipment’s, and various medical equipment’s applications. In this work, LC is considered for study namely output negative elementary super lift luo-converter (NOESLLC). The designed converters are constructed with few elements in comparison with S-T converter and it is also capable of controlling the load voltage and producing excellent efficiency (ranges various from 90% to 95%) at different operating stages via various input voltage, various load resistance and different duty cycle. The main significant of the developed converters over the conventional soft switching converters has the designed converter’s key switches have been turned on with the rectifier diodes and zero current switching (ZCS) are turned off when the voltage is switched to zero (ZVS). The performance of the designed converters is verified by developing the MATLAB/Simulink model at different working conditions in comparison with conventional LC. The results are presented to show the proficient of model.
