A transversal correlational study was carried out, based on the mixed methodology with the objective of determining the existing relationship between child sexual abuse and the emotional problems present in a group of adolescents who arrived at the department of minors of the municipality of Artemisa. The sample was constituted by 10 abused adolescents and 10 non-abused adolescents for control group to which different techniques were applied. The results obtained show that the emotional problems were high depression, high anxiety, low self-esteem and presence of feelings of shame and stigmatization in the group of abused adolescents and in the control group, medium anxiety was the problem that stood out. The abuses were characterized by occurring with a frequency of one to five times, a duration of days, carried out by male aggressors aged between 31 and 50 years old, having neighborhood ties or familiarity with the victim; the most used tactics were deception and taking advantage of trust and familiarity. The abusive behaviors used were lewd abuse. These adolescents reacted with flight and their parents with support.
