Determination of beneficial mite species in agricultural areas of Kastamonu province has been aimed. For this purpose, 163 fields have been surveyed in Taskoepru, Hanoenu and Centrum of Kastamonu in 2018- 2019. Thirty mite species representing in three orders (Prostigmata, Mesostigmata and Astigmata); the identified species, belongs into twelve families, including Ascidae (nine species), Phytoseiidae (seven), Laelapidae (four), Macrochelidae (two), Stigmaeidae (one), Digamasellidae (one), Ameroseiidae (one), Histiostomatidae (one), Parasitidae (one), Eviphididae (one), Veigaiidae (one) and Tydeidae (one). The most abundant species is Alliphis halleri (G.&R. Canestrini) (Eviphididae: Acaridae)The well distributed species is Gamasellodes bicolor (Berlese ) (Ascidae: Acaridae).
