En este trabajo de investigacion, realizado por alumnos de 5 Degrees ano de nivel secundario, se estudia el efecto de aguas de riego de diferente salinidad (agua de lluvia, agua potable y soluciones salinas de 1,2; 2,1 y 2,8 g/L de cloruro de sodio) sobre el crecimiento y la germinacion de especies sensibles a la salinidad en condiciones de laboratorio. Se utilizaron tres especies sensibles a la salinidad como son: lechuga; maiz y espinaca. Se realizaron ensayos de germinacion en bandejas con papel para cada una de ellas y un ensayo de crecimiento de plantulas en macetas con lechuga. Se midio la conductividad y se determinaron los cloruros en agua mediante el metodo volumetrico.
