La destitucion presidencial de Alcala Zamora, en abril de 1936, supuso un serio reves para la estabilidad de la Segunda Republica espanola. Su salida, muy criticada en su momento por las formas en las que se llevo a cabo, nos ha llevado a someterla a una investigacion profunda. Los motivos politicos, las razones personales, junto con el analisis de la prensa del momento, han sido la base de este trabajo que nos ha permitido aportar una nueva vision sobre cuales fueron los motivos reales de esta destitucion por parte del gobierno del Frente Popular y cuales fueron las consecuencias para un regimen republicano crispado y con una direccion imprecisa.
