This book is a compilation of students' work in the year 9 English classes during Winter and Spring 2019 at Calwell High. The students explored the process of cathartic writing by examining archetypes using the Enneagram types and expanded the profiles to become the villains and heroes in their own horror stories. Movies, books and famous horror genre authors and directors were examined for plot development, character development, as well as the different types of fears that are used in creating an emotional reaction from the audience. Each chapter in this book demonstrates a different phase of the process used in the class.
