Il est vrai que tout chemin mene a Rome, et qu'aussi, il faut le dire, le Saint-Denis ou je me dirigeais n'est pas cette sous-prefecture de la Seine, derniere demeure de nos rois, mais bien la capitale de l'ile Bourbon, aujourd'hui la Reunion. J'allais aux iles, comme on dit a Paris quand on s'embarque pour les colonies lointaines…
