This work features text by Carol Strickland, Tom Mustroph, and Jan Siegt. The Leipzig painter Aris Kalaizis does not work according to sketches, but rather creates a script like a screenwriter. All of the objects which we see on the final painting are creations which arise from a written form. For him, writing is an intimate journal, a kind of record of thought. After completing this script he does not work according to a single photograph but follows several images which he has taken himself.
