Tudor Theatre: Table Rondes IV - Narrative and Drama

Dedicated to the study of the drama of the English - and European - Renaissance, the THETA series aims to be a forum for exchange and debate. This volume offers most of the papers presented at the 4th Table Ronde du Theatre Tudor in Tours. At a time when contemporary drama once again plays with the boundary supposedly existing between the narrative and the dramatic genres and the various recent developments of the latter help to blur its contours, it may be beneficial to reexamine the ways in which writers and dramatists of Renaissance England have dealt with the problem.
