The Old Testament and early Judaism had a significant impact on the fourth gospel, and the synoptic gospels also left their mark. Of the essays collected here, the questions of genesis and history of religion, which were written earlier, are examined in particular. But the last layer of John’s Gospel is also of interest. The relecture model makes it possible to analyze the relationship of texts without having to immediately hypothesize authors or sources. On the other hand, it becomes easier to ask the question of his message once and today from the fully present gospel.
