Er ist seit 1994 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut f r Neuroinformatik der Ruhr-Universit t Bochum in der Arbeitsgruppe Mustererkennung- und Szenenanalyse. Seine Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in der Entwicklung bildbasierter Fahrerassistenzsysteme.
