Wassily Kandinsky: Briefe an Will Grohmann 1923-1943
From 1923 to 1943 Wassily Kandinsky (1866 - 1944) was in close correspondence with the art critic and exhibition curator Will Grohmann (1887 - 1968). The 245 letters and cards sent by the artist to his friend, most of which are previously unpublished, provide a unique insight into Kandinsky’s biography and artistic creation during the Bauhaus period and in exile in Paris.
