Bohemian violinist and composer Franz Neubauer left his native country to pursue a musical career performing and teaching. On his travels he stopped at various monasteries in Bavaria singing for his supper by playing for food and lodging. Neubauer eventually found career success with a concert masters position at the court in Buckeburg but this was short-lived.. within a year he was dead from alcohol poisoning. — Der boehmische Violinist und Komponist Franz Neubauer verliess sein Heimatland, um eine musikalische Karriere als Kunstler und Lehrer zu verfolgen. Neubauer fand schliesslich mit der Position eines Konzertmeisters am Hof in Buckeburg Erfolg in seiner Karriere, was jedoch nur von kurzer Dauer war… innerhalb eines Jahres starb er an Alkoholvergiftung.
