Chr. hat der roemische Politiker und Philosoph Lucius Annaeus Seneca (Seneca der Jungere) eine Sammlung von 124 Briefen verfasst, in denen er seinem Freund Lucilius Einblicke in seine persoenliche Ausdeutung der stoischen Philosophie gewahrt. Dabei geht die heute gelaufige Einteilung der Briefe in 20 Bucher bereits auf die Antike zuruck. Der vorliegende Band beinhaltet die Briefe 13-21 aus Buch 2 in deutscher UEbersetzung sowie den lateinischen Originaltext.
