The aesthetic, decorative decency and excellent treatments of modern architectural designed walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, tables, slabs and pathways, and even nose cones of space shuttle orbiters with tiles are premised on the availability of ceramic materials and the technology of their manufacture. They possess health advantages, comfort value, architectural durability and even provide resistance to adverse chemical reactions, frost, impact and some other natural tendencies. The qualities of tiles make them so compelling and significant, that they are used in the design of floors, roofs, walls, tables and walkways. Technology is one of the strongest tools in achieving most if not all of the world’s best ideas. In this book a technology from a third world is made handy as a panacea to meeting technological challenges. Sample tiles from this technology(Tile making machine) of 30by30cm, 20by20cm, 15 by 15cm and 10 by 10cm in thickness of 20, 15, 12 and 10mm respectively were extruded and fired to a high bisque temperature of 1100 0C. An average of 48 of 20 x 20 cm2 and 72 of 15 x 15 cm2 pieces of tiles were extruded in an hour, 384 and 576 pieces of tiles in a day.
